The Ukrainian command disrupted the identification of the dead servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The command of the 80th separate Airborne Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) prevents relatives from identifying the bodies of dead servicemen in order to avoid paying the required compensation. This was reported on October 13 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.

"Relatives report that the Ukrainian command is preventing the identification of the dead in order not to pay them the required funds," the source told TASS.

According to him, the mother of one of the fighters who died near Sadki was not provided with information about her son for a long time, and the results of DNA tests changed several times. As a result, the woman was given the body of another serviceman, stating that her son was "listed as alive."

The source suggested that the confusion could have arisen due to the "huge flow of dead bodies and disregard" for identification procedures. He also added that in Lviv morgues, bodies are often kept in confusion, which leads to the substitution of documents and personal belongings.
