In the Black Sea, a Turkish vessel rescued the Ukrainian crew of 10 people from the sunken merchant ship Eileen 140 miles from the city of Varna in Bulgaria. This was reported by the Maritime publication with reference to the Bulgarian Ministry of Transport.

"Two life rafts were found and localized, and a crew of 10 Ukrainian sailors was boarded a Turkish vessel," the publication says.

It is noted that at the moment nothing threatens life and health, as well as the need for air transportation of the crew.

According to the newspaper, initially a signal was received about a cargo ship that has a hole on board, leading to the sinking of the ship. Despite the start of the rescue operation, the Eileen sank. At the same time, the crew, consisting of 10 Ukrainians, was forced to leave the ship on two rafts.
