The military wing of Hamas announced a plan to transfer the bodies of four hostages.
Today, the Palestinian Hamas movement will hand over the bodies of four hostages to Israel. This was announced on October 13 by the military wing of Hamas, the Izz al-Din al-Qassam brigades.
"The Al-Qassam brigades have announced that they will release the remains of four hostages today," Al Hadath TV channel reports.
The Israeli NGO Forum of Families of Hostages and Missing Persons said earlier that day that only four of the 28 dead hostages would be returned from the Gaza Strip during the day. The members of the association consider the incident an offense and expect assistance from the Israeli government in taking measures in this situation.
On the same day, the first group of seven Israeli hostages released by the Hamas movement was handed over to the IDF in the Gaza Strip. It was noted that upon their return to Israel, all of them will undergo a medical examination. Hamas then released a second group of 13 hostages, who were handed over to the Red Cross.
Later, Izvestia correspondent Nikita Kulyukhin reported that those released had arrived at a hospital in Tel Aviv.
