The Ramenskoye city court found the director of a store near Moscow, Mukhammadjon Khaidarov, guilty of murdering a customer for stealing vodka, and he was sentenced to 9 years and 8 months in a high-security penal colony. This was reported on October 13 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.
In addition, Khaidarov was fined 2 million rubles.
The incident occurred on November 30, 2024 in the village of Udelnaya. The 32-year-old director of the supermarket, Khaidarov, noticed how a 49-year-old man, who had paid for a loaf of bread at the checkout, took a bottle of alcohol from his bosom. He approached the customer and offered to discuss what had happened in the back room. According to the investigation, Khaidarov brutally beat the man and then strangled him. The store's director was detained a few days later.
Later, a criminal case was opened against the defendant (Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
