Major repairs of the bridge over the Yauza River have been completed in the Klin urban district of the Moscow Region. The regional Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure announced this on Monday, October 13.
We are talking about a crossing in the village of Vozdvizhenskoye with a length of 35 m. According to Transport Minister Marat Sibatulin, the workers put the spans and supports in order, completely replaced the bridge bed and partially the rubber support parts of the bridge, installed new fences, and set up a system of local sewage treatment plants.
According to the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya, the work was carried out in two stages. Experts have reduced the width of the passage on one of them. This was required to facilitate the construction.
The bridge was repaired as part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life". The traffic is open and fully operational.
Earlier in October, it was reported that 54 roads and eight overpasses would be built and reconstructed in the Moscow Region. The changes will affect more than 3.5 million residents of the region.
