"I have heard that there is a war going on between Pakistan and Afghanistan. I told myself that I would have to wait until I got back," Bloomberg quoted the American leader as saying.
It is specified that he made such a statement before the international summit on peace in the Gaza Strip, Trump is the co-chairman of the event.
According to the agency, Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Army Commander-in-Chief Asim Munir will also attend the meeting. According to preliminary information, representatives of Pakistan are expected to meet with the US president during the event.
