"Such formats are very interesting to me. First of all, because I discover something completely unexpected for myself. Our project will help the viewer come to a deeper understanding of things. It seems to take you to a new level of awareness, where everyday problems no longer seem so significant, but are perceived as something small and temporary. And this realization helps to make life easier," Alexey Guskov said.

The first film of the series, "Why does the planet need volcanoes?", hosted by Alexey Guskov, invites viewers to embark on an exciting journey to the most powerful and mysterious geological sites in the world to find out their true role in the fate of humanity and the entire planet. Earth is the only living planet known to us, and its fiery heart beats in the depths of volcanoes. We see them as a threat, but is that really the case?

Viewers will learn how a single eruption almost put an end to the existence of our distant ancestors, and how these same giants, despite their destructive power, turned into the cradle of all life. The filmmakers will prove that fire giants invisibly controlled the course of history, influencing the fate of empires and the outcome of great battles.

The film "Why does the planet need volcanoes?" is not just a story about grandiose disasters. This is a story about how modern science is exploring the most hidden corners of the Earth, trying to understand the nature of supervolcanoes like Yellowstone and the hidden volcanic activity of Antarctica. Viewers will learn how the activity of volcanoes gives humanity unique valuable resources, from the most fertile soils to lithium deposits, which are called the "oil of the future." The new film is a large–scale journey to the origins of life, power and the future of our amazing planet.
