Buses carrying prisoners released as part of the Israel-Hamas Gaza deal have arrived in the Palestinian territories. This was reported by Al Jazeera on October 13.

Earlier in the day, it became known that the first group of seven Israeli hostages released by the Palestinian Hamas movement had been handed over to the IDF in the Gaza Strip. It was noted that upon their return to Israel, all of them will undergo a medical examination. It was later reported that Hamas had released a second group of 13 hostages, who had been handed over to the Red Cross.

On October 9, Israel and Hamas signed an agreement on a cease-fire and the release of hostages after indirect talks in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt. According to the agreement, the fighting will cease, Israel will partially withdraw from Gaza, and Hamas will release all remaining hostages in exchange for prisoners held in Israel. The ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip entered into force on October 10 at 12:00 Moscow time.
