A man died when a car overturned into a ditch near Severomorsk

Near Severomorsk in the Murmansk region, as a result of a car overturning into a ditch, one person was killed and one injured. This is reported by the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.

The accident occurred last Saturday, October 11, on the 5th km of the bypass highway to Severomorsk. According to preliminary data, the 44-year-old Toyota Corolla driver lost control. The car flew into a ditch and overturned.

As a result of the accident, the driver, a resident of the naval capital, received various injuries, from which he died on the spot before the ambulance arrived, Bi-port news agency writes. His 45-year-old passenger was also injured in the accident, the man was taken to the hospital, but he did not need hospitalization.

The circumstances of the fatal accident are being established.

On August 20, one person died in a single accident with a drunk driver in the Murmansk region. In addition, two teenagers aged 16 and 17 were injured and taken to the hospital.
