The Toyota Corolla and Mark II models turned out to be the most sought-after right-hand drive cars with mileage in Russia. This was reported to Izvestia on October 13 by Avito Auto experts, who studied the interest of users of the platform in the third quarter of 2025.

During this period, Toyota Corolla's share of interest was 3.3%. The second place is occupied by Toyota Mark II (3.2%), followed by Honda Fit (2.3%), Mazda Demio (2%) and Nissan Sunny (1.8%). Toyota (41.6%) is also the leader in the same rating among brands, followed by Nissan (17.9%), Honda (14.8%), Mitsubishi (6.1%) and Mazda (5.9%).

The share of right-hand drive cars among all cars presented on the platform was 6.6%. Such cars are most often found among Daihatsu models (90.7% of all brand offers), Honda (54.2%), Isuzu (43.6%), Toyota (38.3%) and Subaru (34.4%). Among the most common models available with both left and right hand drive, right-hand drive versions are most often found among Mazda CX-3 (95%), Nissan Bluebird and Honda Shuttle (93% each), Nissan Leaf (92.5%) and Sunny (90.8%).

In June—September, compared with the same period last year, the average price of a right-hand drive car in the Russian Federation decreased slightly (by 1.7%; to 590 thousand rubles). At the same time, cars of many popular brands have become noticeably more affordable: Nissan (-5.6%; up to 425 thousand rubles), Toyota (-5.5%; up to 600 thousand rubles), Mitsubishi (-2.5%; up to 350 thousand rubles) and Honda (-2.3%; up to 840 thousand rubles). Mazda prices remained at the level of last year — 380 thousand rubles.

Average prices for most of the sought—after models also decreased, most of all for Mazda Demio (-11.7%; up to 265 thousand rubles) and Nissan Sunny (-9.3%; up to 245 thousand rubles). The Toyota Corolla is now 4.4% more affordable (325 thousand rubles), while the prices of the Honda Fit and Toyota Mark II remained at last year's levels of 750 thousand and 585 thousand rubles, respectively.

Earlier, on September 23, the Russian Interior Ministry said that the ministry was not putting forward or supporting initiatives to impose additional burdens on right-hand drive vehicles such as import restrictions and phased replacement of such vehicles, as well as changes to the recycling plan.

Prior to that, on September 22, it became known that Russia had proposed to gradually change cars with right-hand drive in the country "to safer vehicles." This initiative was made by the head of the Economic Committee of the Federation Council, Andrei Kutepov. He has prepared an appeal addressed to the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov.
