General Kuznetsov, accused of bribery, wrote a letter to Putin
The former head of the main personnel department of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant General Yuri Kuznetsov, sent a letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin. As Vedomosti reported on October 13, which has a copy of the document in its possession, Kuznetsov calls himself "an innocent, conscientious, honest man."
In the letter, Kuznetsov claims that the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation is trying to prematurely seize and convert his property and the property of his relatives into state income, even before sentencing in the case of receiving bribes. According to him, the amount of money legally paid to him since 2010 "completely covers the value of the property and the amount of money" that the authorities want to seize.
