The Dutch government has taken control of Chinese chip manufacturer Nexperia (a subsidiary of Wingtech Technology) amid growing global trade tensions. This was reported on September 13 by CNBC.

The TV channel reports that after the government's announcement, Wingtech shares listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange fell by 10%, reaching the maximum daily limit.
