During the hearing, Blinovskaya, who was sentenced to five years in a penal colony, asked the court to postpone her sentence until her children reached the age of 14. She called the sentence "excessively harsh."

At the same time, the prosecutor insists on the legality of the decision of the Savelovsky Court of Moscow.

The blogger stated that she is ready for the harshest sentence if the court gives her the opportunity to raise children.

On March 3, Yelena Blinovskaya was sentenced to five years in prison in a general regime colony. The marathon queen was also fined 1 million rubles and banned from engaging in certain activities for four years. In addition, 587 million rubles were recovered from Blinovskaya at the request of the prosecutor's office.

Blinovskaya was detained in April 2023 on suspicion of fraud for the purpose of non-payment of taxes. She was under house arrest for about a year. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation completed the investigation into the blogger on July 25, 2024. On August 30, she partially pleaded guilty to tax evasion. In November, the blogger was declared bankrupt, after which the court began selling her property.
