Wholesale distribution center to be built in Primorye

Primorsky Krai will have its own wholesale distribution center. The project will receive government support. The decision was made by the Presidium of the government commission on the socio-economic development of the Far East. The center will be built in the village of Novy Nadezhdinsky municipal district.

According to PrimaMedia News agency, Primorye Wholesale Distribution Center LLC began construction of the interregional ORC in September 2018. Its capacity will exceed 30 thousand tons of food products. This is necessary to ensure the supply of the region, inter-regional exchange and foreign trade operations. The volume of investments will amount to more than 4.3 billion rubles.

Initially, it was planned to launch the first stage of the center in the first quarter of 2019, then in the first half of 2024. The facility is to be commissioned in four stages, by 2026.

The ORC will consist of functional facilities, including multi-temperature warehouses for storage and pre-sale preparation of products. There will also be wholesale and retail zones. The territory will house trade and exhibition pavilions, an agricultural market, customs and phytosanitary control zones.

The agency, referring to the Investment Portal of Primorsky Krai, notes that the ORC should provide conditions for storing potatoes and vegetables until the start of mass deliveries of a new crop. It is planned to use modern technologies for this purpose.

In early October, it was reported that 50 bridge structures are planned to be repaired in Primorye in 2026. This was stated by Governor Oleg Kozhemyako during a direct conversation. According to him, this year we are carrying out repairs at 21 facilities, including three bridges located on the Osinovka – Rudnaya Pier road in the Anuchinsky and Arsenyevsky districts.
