In Sochi, rescuers evacuated a tourist group stranded due to bad weather by helicopter. This was reported in the Main Directorate (GU) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Krasnodar Territory.

"The tourist group was taken to the base of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the village of Navaginka," the ministry said in a statement.

It is noted that the condition of all the band members is satisfactory, no one needed hospitalization.

Rescuers are asking for help with resources to locate the missing in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that a registered tourist group of eight people was cut off from the route due to heavy rains in Sochi. The group also includes children aged 10 and 13.
