Preparations for the visit of US President Donald Trump have already begun at Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport. On October 13, Izvestia correspondent Nikita Kulyukhin showed the situation in the air harbor.

"Israel is awaiting the arrival of American President Donald Trump here at Ben Gurin International Airport near Tel Aviv. <...> Media from all over the world are present here, they will cover this historic moment," he said.

Kulyukhin noted that even all flights from Terminal 1, where the US president's plane will land, have been canceled or rescheduled to another terminal.

It is noted that a welcoming ceremony for Trump will be held at the airport, which will be attended by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. After that, Trump will drive through the country's main road that leads from the airport to Jerusalem.

Earlier, on October 12, Trump announced the end of the conflict in the Gaza Strip. According to him, this moment is "really special."

On October 9, Israel and Hamas signed an agreement on a cease-fire and the release of hostages after indirect talks in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt. According to the agreement, the fighting will cease, Israel will partially withdraw from Gaza, and Hamas will release all remaining hostages in exchange for prisoners held in Israel. The ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip entered into force on October 10 at 12:00 Moscow time.
