The Ukrainian Armed Forces killed a Colombian mercenary who tried to surrender

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have eliminated a Colombian mercenary who wanted to surrender to Russian captivity. This was announced on October 13 by the shooter of the Vostok group of forces with the call sign Turmoil.

"I got caught, there was a Colombian. <...> He wanted to give up, but his FPV drone finished him off," he told RIA Novosti.

According to the Russian serviceman, the foreign soldier who was killed by his own colleagues was wounded, and therefore intended to stop resisting. As Turmoil pointed out, the Ukrainian Armed Forces always eliminate their own forces in such cases.

Semana magazine reported on October 5 that Colombian mercenaries had recorded a video message to their country's president, Gustavo Petro, asking him to help them return to their homeland. According to the militants, they are experiencing "severe humiliation" from those who came to help and those who do not want them to go home.

On October 8, Petro accused Ukrainians of treating Colombian soldiers poorly, considering them representatives of an "inferior race."
