In Vladivostok, a man disappeared on a boat at sea

Andrei Varchenko, 42, a resident of Vladivostok, went to sea on a boat in Primorye and disappeared, they have not been able to find him for a week. This was announced on October 12 by the search organization Primpoisk.

It is specified that Varchenko went sailing on a Yamaha boat without inscriptions on board. His ship was covered with burgundy covers.

In addition, his niece reported that the last time the man's phone was located in the vicinity of the settlement of Posiet. According to her, the man is alive, but cannot return home on his own.

"We have information that he is alive, but cannot return on his own (the gasoline is out, the seizure or something else), is at sea on a boat, not near land," she said in her Instagram post (owned by Meta, a recognized extremist organization and banned in the Russian Federation).

On September 28, the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the Krasnoyarsk Territory reported the disappearance of the Usoltsev family, consisting of a man and a woman born in 1961 and 1977, respectively, as well as their five-year-old child, in a wooded area near the Minsk Loop. According to one of the versions put forward by representatives of the Main Investigative Directorate (GSO) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Khakassia on October 3, the man could have become ill, and the woman and child could not get out of the taiga on their own.

On October 8, the press service of the main directorate (GU) of the Russian Emergencies Ministry for the region said that more than 515 km of forest roads and 40 square kilometers of woodlands had been combed by volunteers in search of missing tourists. The next day, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Khakassia reported that the radio signal of the phone of the head of the missing Usoltsev family was recorded 7 km from the village of Kuturchin in the Partizansky district, after which it was decided to concentrate search operations there. Later, the regional branch of the LizaAlert volunteer search and rescue team was informed that the active phase of the search for the family had been completed.
