Calculations of Gvozdika self-propelled howitzers of the 30th motorized rifle regiment of the North group of forces destroyed camouflaged positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the area of a special military operation in the Sumy region. This was announced on October 13 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

Using data obtained from advanced intelligence officers and operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), the gunners of the Gvozdika self-propelled howitzers launched precision strikes against the positions of the Ukrainian troops.

The drone scouts continuously monitored enemy movements, including troop concentrations, equipment, fortifications, firing points, and supply routes. The information collected and the exact coordinates of the targets were transmitted to the gunners for destruction. After successfully completing the task of destroying targets, the howitzer crews quickly changed firing positions in order to recharge and receive new orders.
