Klyuchevskaya volcano in the east of Kamchatka spewed an ash column 7 km above sea level. This was announced on October 13 by the Kamchatka Volcanic Eruption Response Group (KVERT) of the Institute of Volcanology and Seismology of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

It is specified that the ash plume stretches for 33 km to the southwest of the volcano. Klyuchevsky's activity was recognized as dangerous for local and international air transportation, and the aviation color code "orange" was announced in this regard.
On August 15, KVERT of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences reported the release of ash by the Klyuchevskaya volcano at 8 km above sea level. It was clarified that the ash plume stretched for 521 km to the east-northeast of the volcano.
