Heavy fighting is underway in the Red Army area for the southern part of the city.

Russian military personnel are fighting heavy battles in the southern regions of Krasnoarmeysk, as well as on the outskirts of the city. This was announced on October 12 by the head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin.

"Coverage of the Krasnoarmeysko-Dmitrovskaya agglomeration continues in the Red Army area, heavy fighting in the southernmost part [of Krasnoarmeysk]," he said in a video message posted on the Telegram channel.

In addition, he noted that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are actively fighting off the positions of Ukrainian militants, which contributes to the advance of Russian troops in this sector of the front.
