A Russian motorcyclist was killed in an accident on the Erzincan—Sivas highway in Turkey. This was reported by the Nehaber24 newspaper on October 11.

It is specified that the accident occurred on October 11 at about 13:30 (coincides with Moscow time) on the road between Erzincan and Sivas. According to reports, a Russian citizen driving a motorcycle with the license plate 2779 XA 43 lost control and crashed into a steel fence.

"The motorcycle crashed into a steel fence, as a result of which the driver flew out onto the road," the publication says.

As a result of the incident, the Russian's leg was torn off. An ambulance crew arrived at the scene of the accident and took the motorcycle driver to the hospital, but it was not possible to save him. Local law enforcement agencies have launched an investigation into the incident.

On September 23, a tourist bus was involved in an accident in the Turkish city of Alanya. It was clarified that he collided with a minibus on the D400 highway in the Konakli area. As a result of the incident, 18 Russian tourists were hospitalized.
