The film "Parents are nearby", which tells the background of a picture about a boy with an autistic disorder, was refused a rental certificate. This was announced on October 12 by the director of the film Lyubov Arkus.

"This film of mine did not receive a rental certificate. It was removed from the festival programs, where it had already been announced and even entered the catalogues. It doesn't really upset me. The main horror is that I have no right to show it," the Telegram channel said in a statement.

The director said that the film turned out to be stronger than the first part — "Anton is right here." The film "Parents are here next Door" is based on materials that were shot 17 years ago in a camp for people with autism.

The film "Anton is here nearby" served to establish the foundation of the same name to help families with children with ASD, which was founded by the director.

The first documentary series about teenagers with non-verbal autism called "I didn't get into Hogwarts" is being filmed in Russia. The project participants told Izvestia about this on September 17. The mission of the series is to destroy stereotypes about such people.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
