French Prime Minister Lecorny announced the formation of a new government

On October 12, Sebastien Lecorny, who was re-elected to the post of Prime Minister of France, announced the completion of the formation of a new government.

"A government has been appointed, determined to achieve this goal, which will submit a budget to France by the end of the year," he wrote on his page on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

The BFMTV channel, commenting on this message, reported that Laurent Nunez was elected Minister of the Interior, Roland Lescure was reassigned to the post of Minister of Finance, and Jean—Noel Barraud was appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs. The first Council of Ministers is expected to be held on Tuesday, October 14.
