On September 12, the head coach of the Russian national team, Yuri Borodavko, reacted to the words of Norwegian skier Johannes Klebo about the return of Russians to international tournaments, calling them empty.

"Norwegian athletes say the same thing, it's just empty words. No need to pay attention to their statements, nothing is changing," the Vseprosport portal quotes him as saying.

According to the coach, it is simply necessary to wait for the decision of the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) on Russian athletes, which will be made on October 21.

Earlier in the day, Klebo said that the return of Russian representatives to international tournaments would be good for the whole sport. In addition, the skier noted that the return of the Russians would make international tournaments tougher and more interesting.
