In the Belgorod region, three civilians, including two children, were injured as a result of drone attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on October 12 by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.
In the city of Shebekino, two 10-year-old boys were injured after a drone detonated near an apartment building.
"One of them suffered a mine explosion injury, as well as shrapnel wounds to his hip and shoulder. His parents took him to the Shebekinsky Central district hospital," Gladkov said on the Telegram channel.
The second boy with barotrauma was brought by self-defense fighters. The ambulance team will take both children to the children's regional clinical hospital for further treatment.
In addition, in the city of Grayvoron, an FPV drone struck near an apartment building. A local resident received shrapnel wounds to his neck, chest and legs. At the same time, the man was able to independently contact the Grayvoron Central District Hospital (CRH). He will be redirected for further treatment to Hospital No. 2 in Belgorod.
On the same day, the governor of the Kursk region, Alexander Khinstein, reported that two people were injured when a Ukrainian drone attacked a car on the Khomutovka–Kalinovka highway in the Khomutovsky district. A 70-year-old woman suffered a mine explosion injury and a traumatic amputation of her right hand. A 51-year-old man suffered a shrapnel wound to his right shoulder.
