On October 13, Russian athlete and mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Fedor Emelianenko spoke harshly about athlete Alexander Shlemenko's statements regarding Anatoly Tokov related to doping.

Earlier, Shlemenko said that Tokov had "pimples on his back," which, in his opinion, could be related to the use of doping.

"But Tolya took a doping test at Bellator every time, and they never found anything on him. And Alexander was caught on doping. Therefore, it is not for Alexander to talk about doping," Emelianenko said in an interview with Sport-Express.

In his opinion, it's better to have a pimply back than a pimply soul.

On September 12, it was reported that Belarusian mixed martial artist Vladislav Kovalev defeated Russian mixed martial artist Alexander Shlemenko in a rematch in Chelyabinsk as part of the Russian Cagefighting Championship 23 (RCC 23) tournament. This is not the first time that athletes have competed at the RCC 22 tournament.
