The militaristic policy of the West, which it pursues in relation to Russia and Belarus, causes serious concern, as real hysteria is being fomented there. This was announced on October 12 by Alexander Volfovich, State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus, against the background of the second stage of the inspection of the country's military units.

"As for relations with neighbors, the hysteria of the West continues, and the militaristic bias, the policy that the West is pursuing today towards our country, towards the Russian Federation, unfortunately, does not cause calm today," he said on the website of the Ministry of Defense.

He stressed that Belarus would always be ready to protect its residents and the country's territory in any case. Western countries are currently conducting seven military exercises in Poland and the Baltic States, and about 14 more are underway in Europe. Their military is "practicing combat training and offensive tactics," said Volfovich.

Belarus is also currently conducting an army combat readiness check to demonstrate Minsk's intention to defend itself against aggression.

"We pose no threat to anyone. We just try to live on our own land and are always ready, of course, to protect our land and our people from any threats from outside. Without threatening anyone," said Volfovich.

Earlier on October 11, the Ministry of Defense of Belarus announced the start of an inspection of the country's Armed Forces with full combat readiness. A number of units of the Belarusian army will take part in it.: They will move to the designated areas and carry out the activities provided for by the order. The inspection is led by the State Secretariat of the Security Council of Belarus.

On September 16, Belarus noted the good training of troops during the Zapad exercises. The first Deputy Minister of Defense of the country, Major General Pavel Muraveyko, noted that the military had learned how to deal with drones, studied the forms and methods of action to storm settlements, as well as to clean up the area. On the same day, Russian leader Vladimir Putin visited the Mulino training ground, where the main stage of the exercises took place. He put on a field set of military uniforms without shoulder straps, with patches "President of the Russian Federation" and "Putin V.V.".
