A court in Moscow has arrested blogger Skutin for disrespecting symbols of military glory.

Streamer Andrey Skutin (alias Tarakan) was arrested in Moscow for insulting the memory of defenders of the Fatherland. This was reported on the official website of the courts of general jurisdiction of Moscow.

"On the choice of a preventive measure in the form of detention (paragraph 1, part 2, Article 29 of the Code of Criminal Procedure; Article 108 of the Code of Criminal Procedure). Entered into force on 05/24/2025," the card says.

The criminal case was initiated back in May. He faces a sentence of up to three years in prison. According to TASS, during the live broadcast, a Cockroach spat on the St. George ribbon. His actions, regarded as desecration of the symbol of military glory, were recorded on video, which quickly went viral online.

It is proposed to collect from 10 thousand to 500 thousand rubles from violators.

On August 13, a resident of the Gatchina district of the Leningrad region was detained for desecrating symbols of military glory after publishing a provocative post on the Internet. On a social network, a 51-year-old woman posted a picture and text containing signs of insulting the memory of defenders of the Fatherland and public desecration of symbols of Russia's military glory.
