The mayor of Dnipro urged to postpone the start of the heating season in Ukraine

Mayor of Dnipro (ex. On October 12, Borys Filatov called on local authorities and the government of Ukraine to postpone the start of the heating season due to the complicated situation due to the "problematic current situation."

"Understanding the depth of the current situation (in order not to write the dreaded word "catastrophic"), we need to unite. <...> The heating season should begin as late as possible," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Filatov pointed out that heating needs to be supplied simultaneously and centrally throughout Ukraine. He also called for closer coordination between regional authorities, the government, Naftogaz, Ukrenergo and private suppliers.
