Reconnaissance units of the 30th Motorized Rifle Regiment, using UAVs, discovered a drone control point of the Ukrainian formations in the frontline area of Sumy region. An attack drone with a reinforced warhead was used to destroy the target, which led to significant damage to the personnel and infrastructure of the control center.

On October 9, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that the calculation of the Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile system (SAM) of the motorized rifle unit of the Center group of forces shot down the Switchblade 600 barrage ammunition of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Red Army area. It was clarified that the calculation successfully protected the ground forces from air attacks, destroying a significant number of enemy drones.
