The Su-35S crew performed night duty in order to ensure safety

The crew of the Su-35S multipurpose, super-maneuverable thrust-vector fighter of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) performed combat duty at night in the interests of the Vostok group of forces in the area of a special military operation (SVO). This was announced on October 12 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

The main task of the crews on duty in the air was to ensure the safety of bombers, attack aircraft and helicopters of army aviation in a certain area during their air strikes on military installations and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). Tactical aviation pilots perform combat missions around the clock, in all weather conditions, using a wide range of aviation weapons.

Round-the-clock video surveillance of enemy fortified areas is provided by drones

On October 11, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that calculations of modern unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) SKAT 350M of the 44th Army Corps of the North group of forces had uncovered camouflaged positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkov direction. It was clarified that after analyzing the intelligence received, the coordinates were transferred to the command for further fire damage by artillery calculations.
