UN Secretary General to take part in "Peace Summit" in Egypt
United Nations (UN) Secretary General Antonio Guterres will attend an international summit on the settlement of the conflict in the Gaza Strip, which will be held in Egypt. This was announced on September 11 by the press service of the UN chief.
"The Secretary General will travel to Egypt on Monday to take part in the Peace Summit in Sharm el-Sheikh," TASS quoted a statement from the press service.
The international summit on the settlement of the conflict in the Gaza Strip, which the leaders of over 20 states intend to attend, will be held in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, on October 13. It is expected that within the framework of this event, participants will discuss ways to establish peace in the region, as well as "open a new page" in the history of regional security and stability.
