Russian pensioners will continue to receive pensions in the usual way, there are no mandatory plans to transfer to a digital ruble. This was announced on October 12 by Yaroslav Nilov, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs.

"Pensioners do not need to worry that this will directly affect them, and tomorrow they will not know what to do with their digital rubles, which are not clear where, some numbers, some crypto assets, some cryptocurrency, where to go," he said in an interview with TASS.
