On October 11, the Russian Embassy in Madagascar appealed to Russians to refrain from traveling to Antananarivo amid the ongoing protests.

"Dear Russian citizens! In view of the current situation, for the sake of your safety, the Embassy strongly recommends that you refrain from traveling to the center of Antananarivo and visiting public places," the embassy said in a message on its Telegram channel.

It is specified that in case of emergencies or the need for assistance, Russians can contact the embassy around the clock by phone.
