Heavy fighting between the Taliban and the Pakistani army began on the border of Afghanistan and Pakistan along the Durand Line, the border of the states unrecognized by Kabul. This was reported on October 11 by Tolo News portal.
"Local sources report large—scale clashes between Taliban forces and the Pakistani army along the Durand Line," the Telegram channel said.
According to the portal, five Pakistani soldiers were killed as a result of the clashes. The sides clashed in the areas of Kunar, Nangarhar and Helmand provinces. At the moment, the Pakistani troops have abandoned several of their positions.
