A rally is taking place in Tel Aviv, attended by relatives of Israeli hostages released from captivity by the Palestinian Hamas movement. The event, which was also attended by US President Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff, the daughter of the American leader Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner, is accompanied by the slogan "Nobel Prize to Trump!" This was reported on October 11 by the Times of Israel (ToI) newspaper.

It is specified that those gathered in the streets carried national and yellow flags in their hands, symbolizing the social movement advocating the release of hostages, as well as posters with images of their loved ones. They clapped Trump and his representatives, who spoke from the podium, and also unfurled banners thanking the American president.

At some point, according to photographs distributed by the publication, a multi-meter textile cloth with the image of the head of the White House and the inscription: "Nobel President Trump!" was revealed above the crowd, among which the flags of the United States were traced.

"October seventh (October 07.2023 is the date of the beginning of the escalation. — Ed.) it became a difficult day for me. Since then, my heart has not regained its integrity. It is important to me that the abducted return home, that their families end this nightmare, that the suffering of the people in Gaza, which they endured through no fault of their own, end," Kushner said during his speech.

The participants of the rally, which, as the publication emphasized, had an atmosphere of harmony and "completeness," chanted slogans: "thank you for being with us all the time," "the image of victory is the last hostage," and "only the people returned the hostages."

However, difficulties may arise when agreeing on the second stage of the peace deal.

Al Jazeera TV channel reported a day earlier that Hamas representatives intend to return all Israeli hostages by the morning of October 13, 2025. The return will be carried out until 06:00 on Monday under the supervision of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
