On October 11, newly elected French Prime Minister Sebastien Lecorny did not rule out the possibility of resigning again.

"Returning to this post was not obvious to me. <...> I resigned last Monday because the conditions [of working in the government] are no longer being fulfilled. If the conditions don't work out again, then I'll leave. I do not intend to engage in nonsense," the La Tribune Dimanche newspaper quoted him as saying.

It is specified that the prime Minister replied to President Emmanuel Macron agreeing to the request to return to the Matignon Palace in order to "act in his own way from now on."

On October 10, the press service of the Elysee Palace reported that Lecorny was reappointed Prime Minister of France.

Earlier, he submitted his resignation letter to Macron on October 6. He later explained his resignation from office by the position of political parties.
