Two people died after a snowmobile fell through the ice in Yakutia.

A snowmobile with people fell through the ice on a river in Yakutia, two people died. This was reported on October 11 in the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Sakha Republic.

"Four men rode a snowmobile along the Olenek River from the village of Kharyalyakh towards the village of Olenek. The snowmobile collapsed 80 meters from the shore," the department's Telegram channel says.

As a result of the incident, two people were able to get out of the water on their own. 10 specialists were sent to search for the other two men, but they could not be saved.

Six children between the ages of 10 and 12 fell through the ice of the Ith River in the Yaroslavl region on March 28. The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that everyone was able to get ashore, no one was injured.
