On October 11, US President Donald Trump said that he had not asked for the Nobel Peace Prize from Maria Corina Machado, despite her recognition of his merits.
"The man who actually won the Nobel Prize called me today and said: "I accept it in your honor, because it is you who really deserve it." It was a very nice gesture.
