Moscow appreciates North Korean President Kim Jong-un's decision to strengthen bilateral relations. This was announced on October 11 by Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia.

According to him, the DPRK's position on the special military operation is extremely important for the Russian Federation. Medvedev also pointed out that the heroism of the republic's servicemen was united by the peoples of the two countries.
