A seventeen-year-old girl killed her newborn baby in the Altai Territory

A criminal case has been opened into the murder of a newborn child in the Altai Territory. This was reported on October 11 in the press service of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

"On the evening of October 10, 2025, the body of a baby with stab wounds to the neck and chest was found on a site located along Malakhov Street in Barnaul," the department's Telegram channel reported.

On this fact, the investigative department for the Leninsky district of Barnaul of the SU IC of Russia in the Altai Territory opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code ("Murder of a minor").
