An earthquake of magnitude 5.8 was registered in the Kamchatka Territory. This was reported on October 11 in the Telegram channel of the Kamchatka branch of the Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

It is specified that the seismic event occurred at a distance of 90 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, and its epicenter was located at a depth of 53.4 km.
