Calculations of modern SKAT 350M unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the 44th Army Corps of the North group of forces revealed the camouflaged positions of formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kharkov area of the special military operation (SVO). This was announced on September 11 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

The gunners of the North group of forces, in close cooperation with the military personnel of the UAV company of the 44th Army Corps, daily inflict damage to manpower, military equipment and command posts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

During the combat work, reconnaissance UAV crews, performing aerial reconnaissance, identified firing points and positions of Ukrainian militants. After analyzing the intelligence received, the coordinates were transferred to the command for further fire damage by artillery calculations.

This drone is designed for aerial surveillance and search for objects in the optical and infrared ranges, as well as for precise targeting of the group's weapons units at Ukrainian militant targets.

It uses a high-performance target load, as well as technical solutions that improve the functioning of daytime and thermal imaging cameras. A modern module with updated algorithms facilitates the work of the UAV operator to capture and sustainably track targets.

"He also has an auto-tilt from rams, and he also calculates them when they are next to him. It shows that there is radiation from some kind of third-party aircraft. When he sees it, <...> makes a sharp incline, maneuvers. It's already very difficult to shoot it down," said the head of the calculation with the call sign Owl.

The elimination of the stronghold allowed the group's assault units to move forward. The effectiveness of the Grad MLRS in supporting the offensive has been confirmed: due to its range, the system is able to suppress the enemy both on the front line and in the depth of defense, disrupting the logistics of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and depleting their forces.
