Trump announces agreement on more provisions of the Gaza peace plan

On October 10, US President Donald Trump announced that an agreement had been reached on more investments in the Gaza peace plan.

"Consensus has been reached on most (provisions. — Ed.). Some of them will have to be finalized, as in some cases agreements are reached... They may not work in practice," he told reporters at the White House.

The Axios portal reported on October 10 that Trump plans to hold a leadership summit on the situation in the Gaza Strip during his visit to Egypt next week. The summit is expected to be attended by leaders or foreign ministers from Germany, France, Britain, Italy, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Indonesia.
