The Accurate Energy Systems plant in the US state of Tennessee, where the explosion occurred, produced shaped charges used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported by RIA Novosti on October 10.

It is specified that the plant was engaged in the production of various types of weapons, including shaped charges of the M2A4 model. These charges are designed to penetrate various materials such as reinforced concrete, armor plates and soils.
