Moscow will participate in the international technology exhibition GITEX Global in the UAE

The Moscow government will participate in the international technology exhibition GITEX Global 2025, which will be held in Dubai from October 13 to 17. The capital will present several IT projects there, including a digital twin of the city and a platform for creating software and servicing information systems, said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.

"Our city participates in shaping the global digital agenda. Moscow annually holds large-scale forums dedicated to technology development and demonstrates its best practices abroad. At the exhibition in the United Arab Emirates, the Russian capital will show developments for both the public sector and business," Sergunina said.

One of the key projects in Moscow that the guests of GITEX Global 2025 will get to know is the digital twin of the city. This is a virtual reality replica of the capital. Every year, it is used to make more than 2,000 management decisions at various levels, including in the field of construction and landscaping. Experts from the capital will talk about the functions and capabilities of an AI-powered digital twin.

The Mos technology platform will also be presented at the capital's stand.Tech for software development, information system maintenance, and cybersecurity. Visitors will be able to test laptops with the Mostech operating system.OS" and a package of Moscow services — from a text editor and a program for video conferencing to a messenger and e-mail.

Another project is the Moscow project, the Mos.Hub platform. It provides specialists with free tools for the full software creation cycle, including planning, documentation, working with code, and product launch.

In addition, with the support of the city, GITEX Global 2025 will be visited by entrepreneurs from the capital. They will demonstrate their developments under the general brand Made in Moscow.
