The court returned the foreign agent politician Shlosberg to house arrest

The court returned house arrest as a preventive measure in the case of discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation against Lev Shlosberg, deputy chairman of the Yabloko party (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation). This was reported in the party's press service via the Telegram channel.

"Dmitry Kazantsev, a judge of the Pskov Regional Court, satisfied the prosecutor's office's protest against the ruling of the judge of the first instance, who on October 7 replaced the measure of restraint for Lev Shlosberg, deputy chairman of the Yabloko party, in the form of house arrest with a ban on certain actions. The politician will return to house arrest," the message says.

On June 10, Shlosberg was detained. It was clarified that he, using a pseudonym, posted videos on social networks that were aimed at discrediting the Russian army.

Shlosberg was included in the register of foreign agents in Russia on June 16, 2023. The Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation noted that the politician opposed the special military operation in Ukraine, participated in the creation and dissemination of information materials from other foreign agents, and also disseminated false information about the decisions taken by the country's authorities and their policies.
