A US citizen from New York dreams of obtaining a Russian passport, but worries about being considered a "citizen of an unfriendly country." This was reported on October 10 by RT TV channel.

Lutsik moved to Russia immediately after graduating from university, and his maternal relatives live here, RT notes.

"I've been to Vladimir, Tver, St. Petersburg, Mineralnye Vody - it takes a long time to list everything. And these cities are clean, transport and infrastructure are well developed," the foreigner notes.

According to him, New York loses a lot to Russian cities - there are a lot of homeless people and drug addicts on the streets, and transportation is dirty. Lutsik applied for citizenship six months ago, but it is pending, and the TV channel sent a request to the Interior Ministry in connection with the foreigner's appeal.

Earlier, on October 9, former Biden aide Tara Reid, who received Russian citizenship in 2023, praised Moscow, noting its architecture, metro, atmosphere, as well as a sense of security and freedom. According to Reed, she feels safe and free in Russia.
