Alexander Ilyin, a forecaster at the Meteo forecasting center, warned that Cyclone Barbara would bring snow and rain to Moscow from October 14 to October 16.

In conversation with aif.ru On Friday, October 10, he said that the most likely time for wet snow in the metropolitan region is from October 14 to October 16. During this period, Moscow will be at the head of a cyclone that will bring rains from the south. It is expected to cool down to +5...+10 degrees during the day and up to +1...+6 degrees at night. At such temperatures, there is a high probability that snow will be added to the overnight rains.

At the same time, the forecaster stressed that it is too early to talk about snow cover — precipitation, reaching the ground, will melt and will not form a stable layer.
